It’s no secret that I was a headbanger during my high school and college years. And, to some degree, I still am 20 years later. So it’s also no surprise that I’ve always been an AC/DC fan, and in my opinion they were as good as just about anyone during the late 70’s and throughout the 80’s. Nobody would dispute that Back In Black is one of the best hard rock albums in history. I admit I was disappointed in their most recent album, Stiff Upper Lip, eight years ago. (That’s right - it’s been eight years.)

Today, they’re back (although only at Wal-Mart) with a new album - Black Ice - and I am hoping for the best. I’m encouraged by this first single, “Rock ‘N Roll Train”, which I like, but it remains to be seen if the album as a whole. But early reviews I’ve read have been positive, so while I probably won’t get a copy just yet, I do look forward to hearing it regularly in the near future.
