    Duke Domination!

I was so happy for Lance Thomas. What an incredible defensive night he had–plus 10 big points.

This afterglow will last for several days. There aren’t many Tarheel fans around here to taunt, but I swear I’ll find some.

I was pleased to see Gerald have a good game as well. He had some nice shots and blocks. Lance played very well.

Lawson would have made a difference, but with Ellington and Green bricking shot after shot, it may not have changed the outcome. Although Q Thomas did play pretty poorly in the first half.

The plan seemed to be let TH do whatever he wants, just don’t foul him. 28 and 17 is huge, but other than Ginyard, who helped balance out some of Ellington and Green’s bricks, that’s all they had.

They definitely were living by the 3 though. Once again, that may come back to haunt them in March. But at least this year they have so many who can hit it, it’s going to be hard to have a night where everyone is off.

And by the way, with the constant complaining about Duke players flopping for charges, I expect to hear a great outcry from the sports nation today regarding Hansbrough throwing himself to the floor every time someone half his size got near him in the first half. It wasn’t quite as bad as Deron Washington, because he seemed to cut it out in the second half. But he was on a Washington pace in the first.
