I picked this as the easiest road for a #1 seed. I think Ohio State will not have any problems getting to the regional final. I believe they’ll reach the sweet 16 without any trouble at all.
I’m picking them to meet Tennessee there. Tennessee has a great player in Lofton, but I don’t think it will be enough against OSU. I think now that Oden has two hands, he’s becoming what people expected, and I think they’re going to be hard to stop, and they’ll advance to the regional final.
On the other side, I think it’s wide open. Memphis is the weakest of the #2 seeds in my opinion, but Texas A&M and Louisville have been strong. A lot of people are high on Stanford as well, so I’m not really sure who to pick for the 16 out of that group, but I think that team will be in the regional final. I think Stanford could possibly beat Louisville, but since they’re playing in Kentucky, I’m going with Louisville.
I’m leaning towards A&M to advance, though, in part because they were so close last year, losing in round two to LSU on a late 3-pointer. I think Law will be able to carry them to the 16.
I’ll take Creighton to send Nevada the funk home (sorry, I couldn’t pass that up), although it should be a tight game. I’m also taking a chance with Creighton to upset Memphis.
Best first round game - Louisville vs Stanford
Possible spoiler - Albany. I won’t be surprised if they pulled off an upset of Virginia.
Sleeper to reach Sweet 16 - Creighton
Team I really want to see lose: tossup between Memphis and Tennessee
Game I most want to see - Texas A&M vs Louisville - I think it would be a great game.
Final Four pick - Ohio State, over Texas A&M in the regional final

BYU could off OSU in the round. I personally think the Mountain West had 3 teams that would have made some noise (BYU, UNLV and Air Force). I pick both that made it to surprise people.
