The good - Duke just beat Georgetown. I haven’t been watching it due to the SEC championship game, but it seems they played another good defensive game, since they only scored 61 and won. This was a big win for a young team, so I’m excited. I thought that Georgetown was probably the better team right now, but winning this game may mean Duke is continuing to move in the right direction. However, I still believe they need to score more. I look forward to watching this game later.

The bad - Florida just went ahead 38-28 in the SEC title game. Arkansas scored 21 straight points and had all of the momentum in the third quarter when a fumbled punt turned the game around. You just don’t try to catch a punt over your shoulder inside the 5 yard line. It doesn’t help that Darren McFadden is apparently not 100% after a first half injury.

BCS - some said today that if USC loses (and they did) and Florida wins (they’re in good shape now) that some voters my vote Florida over Michigan, if for no other reason than to avoid a Ohio State - Michigan rematch. I won’t be surprised to see it happen. I think their schedule certainly would compare to Michigans, and they would be a conference champion as opposed to second place. I’m not sure how the computer aspect will affect the overall ranking, though. It will be interesting to see if it happens if Florida holds on.
