Came across this quiz via Wayne’s blog. I’ve never been that into politics, but I guess I would consider myself as having been a Republican for most of my adult life. Over the year or two my opinions about various issues have gradually moved away from that of a traditional Republican (or at least what I understand as traditional.) If there is any accuracy to this quiz at all, evidently I can now consider myself a “New Democrat“. (The tie was broken by an additional question.) Not sure exactly what that will mean when the next election rolls around, but the internet quiz says so, therefore it must be true.

That’s how my quiz went. I had to answer a tie-breaker question…can’t remember the exact questions, but I had to choose between something that was definitely hard-line “traditional republican” and something more moderate. I went moderate…I think it was favoring tax breaks for big business vs. programs for the poor..
