I saw this elsewhere, thought it was pretty good, so I saved it. However, now I do not recall where I got it, so I’m unable to give credit.I think the man raises a valid point. As one who loves Mexican food (and the burrito in particular), I’m certainly concerned about anything that could potentially diminish the amount available in this country…

Seriously, I don’t have much to write about the whole illegal immigration issue right now. I have a lot of mixed feelings. I have no problem saying that the illegal immigration should be stopped - they should tighten up the borders as much as possible to prevent it in the future. However, as for those already here, I’m not sure I’m willing - like some - to say, “Send them all back.” Most of them, in my opinion, are likely here to make a better life for themselves and their families, and I’d say let’s help them do that by helping them become legal. I think the fact that many folks are here illegally is both good and bad for the country. But, I haven’t spent a lot of time thinking about it, so who knows what I’ll think over time.

I realize this is a complex issue with many variables, and I certainly wouldn’t put any of my opinions in stone just yet. But as of right now, I am inclined to say that if our country were to choose to do what it can to help those already here become legal citizens, I’m willing to go along with that.
